This is the story of my horse “Libero” and the health problems that lead a veterinarian to tell us to "Say Goodbye." It's a long story because Libero has been a part of my life for many years. Libero is 24 years old and he's been a member of my family since 2006. Libero had a history of health problems that we weren't aware of when we decided to purchase him. Shortly after Libero arrived at our home he started having an allergy and respiratory issues. Treating them proved to be a near-impossible task. We consulted with different veterinarians and were prescribed inhalers, antibiotics, injections, and many different drugs. Some of them were imported from abroad because they weren't available in Slovenia. In combination with these treatments, he was given supplements to help boost his immune system along with corticosteroids and cortisone.
As you can imagine all of these treatments cost us a fortune over 13 years. To make matters worse Libero was also diagnosed with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), an incurable disease in his later years. We believe he developed this disease because he had had pneumonia several times which had gone undiagnosed by veterinarians.
When we first started treating Libero our goal was always to find a cure, but the most we had been able to achieve was just temporarily repressing his symptoms. As the years went by Libero's immune system grew weaker and the treatments starting being less and less effective.
These were the factors that lead a veterinarian on July the 11th, 2018 to advise us to stop wasting money with further treatment, enjoy the last few days with Libero and then “say goodbye”, because in his opinion it was time to put him to sleep. I knew that conventional medicine had indeed run its course, but I wasn't ready to give up just yet. I decided to look into alternative medicine as my last hope.
After searching different forums and asking for advice I finally stumbled across a person who could potentially save his life.
I sent her an SMS with a description of Libero's state of health and she immediately came to Ljubljana. She came prepared with a fourteen-day therapy so Libero could immediately start treatment. Libero was in such a bad state. His respiration rate was 48 breaths per minute instead of 15 which is normal for horses. He barely had the strength to stand, but after 14 days of treatment, Libero was transported to Renata's for the next stage in his therapy. He was still in very poor shape, but Renata immediately gave me hope. Despite his appalling condition Renata looked at him and said he would be cured in a month. Exercise is an important part of Renata's treatment, but because Libero was in such bad shape that part of his rehabilitation was delayed for a few weeks. Despite this Libero still made significant improvement during that first month. At this point, Renata felt it would be best if we moved him to another stable where the altitude was higher. It was summer and Libero was struggling with the heat. Finding such a place proved to be more of a challenge than we thought so I asked Renata if Libero could stay with her in the meantime.
After 14 more days of therapy on 30th August 2018 at 20.00, my phone started ringing and it was Renata. At first, I panicked because I thought that Libero's health had deteriorated. I picked up the phone and to my relief, Renata said: "LIBERO IS BREATHING NORMALLY!!!” I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness. The news left me speechless, and so very grateful for this unexpectedly WONDERFUL news.
On the 12th of September 2019, Libero went for his first walk under saddle without any issues. I am eternally grateful for Renata and her unique, alternative form of therapy that produced the most spectacular results.
The treatment lasted for just 2 months and it produced better results than 13 years of treatments combined. And the results are lasting. That's better than I ever could have hoped for Libero was on the brink of death until Renata and her Golden Breath therapy brought him back to life.
My horse is in the best condition of his life and its all thanks to you, Renata. I will always be grateful to you and I can not express how grateful I am. I hope that you will have the opportunity to cure many other horses with similar health complications and problems. Success is guaranteed.
