Our mare is fifteen years old and she has struggled with chronic breathing issues for more than 3 years. Before she started taking Golden Breath she was in a very bad state and it was no longer possible to use her for recreational riding. Her breathing was constantly labored and she had a persistent cough. As a result, her energy levels were very low and she was tired all the time. On June 15, 2016, we commenced treatment with Golden Breath. I followed Renata's advice and changed my mares diet and the conditions she was stabled in. After the initial treatment was completed we took her to Renata for 2 more weeks of therapy.
In the 2 months that followed, I noticed a remarkable difference in my mare's behavior. Her energy levels dramatically improved and her breathing returned to normal. Now that she is no longer struggling to breath and her coughing has stopped, she is once again suitable for recreational riding. I ride her on average 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes and at the end of each ride, she feels comfortable and still has energy.

Joy is a beautiful mare with a lovely character. When I first saw the video of her breathing I was concerned by the severity of her symptoms. Normally I grade inflammation of the lungs on a scale of 1-3, but after an evaluation, I had to grade Joyka as a 3+. Her lung function was extremely limited and the mare was struggling to breathe even in a state of rest. After three weeks of therapy with Golden Breath, her condition was much improved but she was still producing too much mucus.
At this point, she was brought to my barn for further treatment. I increased her dose and started her on a light, controlled exercise schedule. After a week she once again started to cough, but this time she was coughing up mucus from her lungs. After two days her breathing was completely calm and controlled and the coughing had stopped. At this point, I began to feel quietly optimistic about Joyka's recovery.
Once Joy returned home she continued to make steady progress over the next 2 months. Her exercise program was slowly increased and her breathing condition has remained stable which is a fantastic result.

In June 2016, had a severe COPD, that was treated in therapy. They did two weeks of pre-therapy at home, and then she came to us. Breathing was already quite calm before arrival. We have adapted her therapy to her condition and because of that her health was improving rapidly. She stayed in an open stable with pasture. She worked under saddle every day. By exhaling, she puked out mucus, increasing her energy every day. After three weeks, she was ready to go home.
At home she remained in the pasture until the late fall. This boosted her immune system. Dusan prepared haylage for the winter. They regularly went for walks. The pace and complexity of the walks increased with the mare's fitness condition and breathing. Within two months, Dušan found that the mucus had stopped coming out and that the mare was breathing normally.
In 2017, they became true mountaineers. They visited Kum-1220m, Liberska Gora 744m, Janče 788m Obolno 726m, Zasavska Gora 850m, Vače, Gradišče, Bogenšperk, Polsnik, they traveled from Litija to Čatež and back. Many miles with the cavalry….
All this time, Joyka had no problems.
