Golden Breath - Adapan

Matevž Babič and Adapan

I purchased an Akhal Teke stallion called Adapan from Damir Volonder, a very well known breeder in Croatia. Shortly after arriving in my stable he started coughing for no reason. Following the advice of a veterinarian, I treated him with medications to help support his immune system and clear his airways. Unfortunately, there was little improvement so the veterinarian opted for antibiotics which also didn't help. The following step was a three-week course of Fluimukan which appeared to help relieve Adapan's symptoms.

After finishing the course of Fluimukan, Adapan's health deteriorated once again. Blood tests and lung swabs were taken and once the results came in we commenced treatment with 4 different types of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and two more courses of Fluimukan. Adapan's breathing improved, but unfortunately, it was once again short-lived. Once we stopped the treatment Adapan started coughing heavily again. At this point, I didn't know what to do anymore. I had spent a small fortune on veterinary expenses with no significant improvement. I felt like giving up.

It was around this time that I came across a discussion on facebook about a therapy called “Good Breath” which was being used on people with success.

I immediately contacted Renata Fabjan, and after a long conversation with her, I decided to try again.

For the first two weeks, I gave Adapan a “pre-therapy” treatment. I followed Renata's instructions and after 10 days I tested him under the saddle.

I was happy because his breathing had improved and he had more energy.

After the two weeks, I took Adapan to Renata's stable for the next step in his treatment. His therapy continued and it was personalized to meet his individual requirements. He was exercised daily and Adapan continued to make progress. After 1 month I was able to take him home.

Once I had Adapan at home I started riding him at least 4 times a week. During the next two months he would occasionally cough up some white mucus, but his breathing continued to stay calm.

I'm very happy to say that 15 months after Adapan's therapy has been completed he's continuing to do really well. I ride him several times a week and his breathing remains normal. I couldn't be happier.

My experience with Golden Breath and Renata is very positive and I recommend therapy to all who have horses with similar problems. Therapy is much more affordable than the other treatments and the results are long-term.
